Week 2 reading blog

For my next book I am reading The Year of Fog.  I called up my cousin the other day to tell her I needed some books to read and she brought over 5-6 books.  I picked this one to read first.  I have had so much going on this week so I have had to read like 10-15 minutes here and there.  I would prefer to just sit down and read for an hour or two but it doesn't always work out that way!

Anyway, this book is about a woman named Abby who is a photographer.  She is engaged to Jake who is a teacher.  Jake has a daughter who is 6, Emma.  So far in the story Jake has went out of town for a weekend and left Emma in Abby's care.  Abby takes Emma to the beach and finds something she would like to take a picture of.  She let go of Emma's hand only for a few seconds and then when she looked up she couldn't find Emma.  It was really foggy that day, Abby took a look around and couldn't find her.  She called 911 and she called Jake.  Jake came back home and now the whole town is searching for Emma.  So far there are no clues as to what could have happened to Emma.  Her mother could have seen her and decided to take her, she could have drowned in the ocean, a stranger could have taken her, right now no one knows.  I am pretty tempted to look in the back of the book to see if they ever find her, but for now I won't!

Wednesday - 20 minutes
Friday - 15 minutes at lunch, another 15 before bed
Saturday - 20 minutes in the morning and another 10 in the evening
Sunday - 20 minutes
